celebration of life

  • Jenni Pennington

On Friday April 25th, 2025 at 5:00pm, Hope Church has the honor of hosting a Celebration of Life service for Jenni Elizabeth Pennington.  A public visitation will be held from 4:00-5:00pm on that same date.

Jenni’s unique journey has 2 main phases.  Jenni was raised in the KC Northland and was a well-loved, incredibly talented and joy-filled teenager with a bright future.  On April 3, 1998, during her Junior year at Oak Park High School, Jenni was in a devastating car accident.  The trauma from that accident left her with a severe brain injury. For the past 26 years, with the support of dear friends and family, Jenni’s parents have committed their lives to her care, quality of life, and to her recovery.  Jenni has enjoyed camping, swimming and her jet ski with parents and friends.  She also enjoyed recently living in Florida in the warmer weather, with many exciting adventures at Disney World. Sadly, Jenni passed away suddenly on January 21, 2025.  Please join us on April 25th, as we honor Jenni’s beautiful life and find hope as we process our loss. Click here to read her full obituary.
